Tweed Heads is very green and lush.  There are numerous small farms that grow beautiful bananas.  Remember this town is right on the east coast of Australia and while you are there  if you go to the wharf you can buy beautiful freshly cooked prawns straight off the trawlers.  Fresh bread rolls and prawns - yum.
