Goulburn Valley Highway is a very scenic road passing through some of Victoria's most beautiful country.  This area is part of the huge Murray River  irrigation scheme.  The Goulburn river joins up with the Murray near Echuca.  Other important towns in the region are Shepparton, Seymour and Yea.
