Dublin - O'Connell Bridge - Ireland.  My Grandparents migrated from Ireland as did many other present generation  Australians' kinsfolk.  Never did find out why they did this - but there is certainly a story here.

Why pack up and travel to a land totally the opposite to what they were accustomed to.  Generally it seems to be a question of the weather.  The weather in Australia is the incentive for many people to migrate.
